Friedrich Otto Hanisch (born September 10, 1843 in Pirna , † after 1912) was a businessman and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Hanisch attended the elementary school in Pirna. He learned practically in the iron industry, established himself in 1868 and brought the business up from small beginnings to a larger, respected hardware store. He was a member of the Dresden Chamber of Commerce and Industry for twelve years and a city ​​councilor in Pirna from 1875 to 1884. From 1884 he was a city councilor in Pirna and a member of the district assembly for the Pirna administration . He was awarded the Knight's Cross of the Royal Saxon Order of Albrecht .

From 1907 to 1912 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency Kingdom of Saxony 8 Pirna , Sebnitz as a compromise candidate of the conservative forces in the constituency at the instigation of the Pan-German Association .
