Otto Hertling

Otto Theodor Carl Hertling (born May 12, 1878 in Hamburg ; † February 14, 1947 there ) was a German businessman and member of the Hamburg Parliament .

Life

Hertling completed an apprenticeship at the Conrad Hinrich Donner bank before he became an employee at the coffee import company Paymann Ziegler , Hamburg. In March 1904 he started his own business with Hertling & Co , which also imported coffee. From 1929 to 1947 Hertling was a member of the supervisory board of the Vereinsbank Hamburg . Hertling belonged to the Hamburg citizenship from 1927 to 1931 and 1933, first as a member of the faction of the German Democratic Party , then in 1933 for the German State Party.
