Otto Jacobsen
Otto Jacobsen (* 1882 , † 1946 in Erfurt; full name: Otto Friedrich Jacobsen ) was a German architect of the New Building .
After studying architecture at the building trade school in Eckernförde , Jacobsen initially worked as an employee of the Hamburg city planning director Fritz Schumacher and came to Erfurt in 1926 . Here, social housing based on the Hamburg model became his focus (together with Karl Schneider and others). Jacobsen's buildings remained unique in Thuringia.
