Otto Karl Hartmann

Otto Karl Hartmann (born October 31, 1882 in Cologne-Deutz , † December 22, 1945 in Berlin ) was a German insurance lawyer.

Life

Otto Karl Hartmann graduated from high school in Cologne-Mülheim in 1902 . He then studied at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-University of Bonn , the Friedrich-Wilhelms University in Berlin and finally back to the University of Bonn law . In 1903 he became a member of the Corps Rhenania Bonn . In 1905 he passed the trainee examination and in 1910 the assessor examination. In 1916 he went to the Reich Insurance Office as a government assessor , where he was promoted to government councilor in 1918 , to senior government councilor in 1921 and to government director in 1943.

Hartmann was the co-author of several manuals and commentaries on the Employee Insurance Act and the Reich Insurance Code . Since 1920 he was married to Margarete Neumann, with whom he had three sons and a daughter.
