Otto Ernst Karl Kindler ( pseudonyms : Matthias Brandner , OK von Koburg , CE Reldnik , born August 20, 1905 in Coburg , † April 23, 1962 in Feuchtwangen ) was a German director , actor and writer .

Life

Otto Kindler worked as a director in Komotau and Marienbad . From the end of the thirties he was also active as a writer. After the Second World War he founded the " Kreuzgangspiele " in Feuchtwangen , which he directed from 1949 to 1952.

Otto Kindler was the author of adventure literature . While he wrote primarily for the magazine novel market until 1945 , he was successful as a youth book author in the post-war period . A number of Kindler's titles that appeared during the Third Reich were on the " List of Literature to be Separated " in the Soviet Zone in 1946 because of their nationalistic or blatantly anti-British tendencies .
