Otto Leypoldt

Otto Leypoldt (born March 1, 1906 in Birkach near Stuttgart , † September 3, 1956 in Weddingen ) was a German politician ( CDU ) and member of the Lower Saxony state parliament .

Leypoldt attended school in southern Germany and completed an apprenticeship there, which he completed as a state-certified farmer with a state examination. He then gained practical experience in companies in Upper Hesse and Rhine Hesse . In the spring of 1928 he became an inspector of three companies in the Goslar district , which he managed independently until September 1946. He had been a member of the NSDAP since May 1, 1937 ( membership number 4,889,990). From September 1946 he leased the Weddingen estate , which he also managed independently. In the period from April 1945 until the Reichsnährstand was dissolved , he took over the position of district farmer in the Goslar district. Otto Leypoldt was a member of the board of directors of sugar factories and agricultural organizations. He became a member of the local council and mayor. In the autumn of 1948 he was elected as a member of the district council.

From May 6, 1955 to September 3, 1956 he was a member of the Lower Saxony State Parliament (3rd electoral period), from May 9, 1955 as a member of the DP / CDU parliamentary group.
