Otto Lindenberg

Otto Lindenberg (born February 20, 1894 in Stettin ; † February 10, 1968 in Oegenbostel ) was a German politician ( KPD ) and a member of the Hanoverian Landtag .

Life

After finishing elementary school , Otto Lindenberg completed an apprenticeship as a lathe operator. He was a participant in the First World War from 1914 to 1918. After the end of the war, he worked for the Stettiner Elektrizitätswerke, where he was a works council from 1919 to 1921.

In the KPD he took on various functions, including working as a reporter for the “People's Watch” from 1926 onwards. He was a city councilor and chairman of the parliamentary group until 1933, after which he was arrested. In April 1933 he moved to Międzyzdroje because of his illegal political activities . He found a job as an employee at the employment office in 1940. In 1944 he was interrogated by the police for spreading rumors. After the end of the Second World War , he became involved as district chairman for those displaced during the war.

Otto Lindenberg was a member of the appointed Hanover State Parliament from August 23, 1946 to October 29, 1946 .
