Otto Pelzelmayer

Otto Pelzelmayer (born April 24, 1914 ; † February 1999 ) was an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ) and a Viennese city ​​councilor .

After his return from captivity after the Second World War, Pelzelmayer joined the state party leadership of the Austrian People's Party and in 1958 became state secretary of the economic union. Pelzelmayer was elected as a representative of Währing in the state parliament and municipal council in the course of the state and municipal council elections in 1964 and was sworn in on October 25, 1964. He was a member of the state parliament and local council until November 30, 1983. Pelzelmayer was elected on January 29, 1971 to succeed Pius Michael Prutscher in the Vienna City Senate and the Vienna Provincial Government and, as a city councilor, took over the department for economic affairs. Pelzelmayer belonged to the state governments of Slavik and Gratz I and left the state government in November 1973.

After his death, Pelzelmayer was buried in the Neustift cemetery .
