Otto Roloff

Karl Paul Otto Roloff (born April 1, 1886 in Ziesar ; † July 15, 1941 in Weimar ) was a German politician (DDP) and administrative officer.

Life

Born the son of a businessman, Roloff studied law in Marburg and Jena after attending the Meiningen secondary school . During his studies in 1904 he became a member of the Alemannia Marburg fraternity . After his exams in 1908 and 1909, he was a court assessor at the Altenburg district court and then worked for the public prosecutor's office, then from 1914 as an assistant worker at the district office in Roda. In 1916 he became an assessor, later with the title of government assessor, district administrator at the Ronneburg district office and as a representative at the district administrator in Roda. In 1919 he became a member of the Landtag of the Free State of Saxony-Altenburg for the DDP . He later worked as a ministerial advisor in the Ministry of the Interior and Economy in Weimar, where he became ministerial director . In 1939 he retired.
