Otto Säuberlich

Otto Säuberlich (born October 11, 1853 in Schönefeld near Leipzig , † October 6, 1928 ) was a German publisher .

Life

Otto Säuberlich was born the son of a master craftsman. He received a commercial apprenticeship in a Leipzig trimmings manufactory. From November 1, 1875, he was an office clerk in the engraving and music printing company Friedrich Wilhelm Garbrechts . After Garbrecht's death in 1874 and after his brother left in 1877, the heirs transferred the management of the business to him. In 1880 the company was acquired by the businessman Oscar Brandstetter and the company changed to Oscar Brandstetter Verlag . Clean was married to Oscar Brandstätter's sister-in-law, Marie Jacob.
