Otto Süs

Otto Ludwig August Süs (born May 1, 1830 in Haddenhausen ; † August 28, 1904 in Minden ) was an administrative officer and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Süs studied law and camera science in Bonn and Berlin . After completing state examinations, he worked as a government assessor for the royal governments in Minden and Posen . In 1866 he was used as a company commander during the war in Bohemia . Afterwards he was employed in the high presidium in Hanover and from 1868 to 1872 as district chief in Melle . He then had himself transferred back to Minden as a member of the government, only to take his leave of state service voluntarily and without a pension and devote himself to the administration of his own larger property.

Between 1878 and 1881 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the German Reich Party and the constituency of Minden 1 (Minden, Lübbecke).
