Otto Weigand (born February 25, 1891 in Hellmitzheim , † October 12, 1968 in Forchheim ) was a German civil servant and member of parliament.

Career

After attending elementary school, secondary school and upper secondary school, Weigand studied at the agricultural department of the technical university. During the First World War , he served on the Western Front for four years and was wounded twice. After the end of the war, he worked for two years at the agricultural school in Landau in the Palatinate and from 1922 on in the rank of agricultural council at the agricultural school and office in Forchheim.

In 1922 he joined the NSDAP . In 1933 he became a member of the city council in Forchheim. In addition, advanced with the DC circuit of the Bavarian Parliament in April 1933 as a deputy in the state legislature for and was elected to the Committee on the state budget.
