Otto Julius Paul Wendt (born June 16, 1861 in Berlin ; † April 14, 1934 in Hamburg-Volksdorf ) was a German actor and director .

Life

Otto Wendt was born in Berlin in 1861 as the son of a typesetter. He made his debut in 1879. In 1886 he was in Neumünster and at least from 1893 to 1905 he was engaged in Berlin. From 1911 he worked as a director, director and actor at the Carl-Schultze-Theater in Hamburg.

He married the actress Hedwig Bartholda Marie Mathilde Wendt born in Schwerin in 1886. Descaling agent.
