Otto Zewe
Otto Zewe (* 1921 in Schiffweiler ; † 2003 ) was a German sculptor and member of the Saarland Artists Association .
Life
Zewe studied from 1946 to 1950 at the School for Arts and Crafts in Saarbrücken with Theo Siegle , Karl Lorenz Kunz and was a master student with Otto Steinert , after which he worked as a freelance. He had numerous exhibitions in Prüm , Paris , Ludwigshafen am Rhein , Frankfurt and many other places. His works shape many public spaces, especially in the vicinity of his place of work in Spiesen-Elversberg in Saarland. His brother-in-law was Walter Bernstein .

- Children's fountain St. Ingbert , Kaiserstraße / corner of Ludwigstraße
- People sitting in front of the main entrance of building B 4.1 Saarland University
- Miner statue in the Rosseltalhalle, Großrosseln . At the time of active mining in Saarland, the statue served as a challenge cup for the pit with the lowest number of accidents.
