Otto Ziegler (politician)
Otto Ziegler (born July 7, 1895 in Tiedmannsdorf / Braunsberg district , † July 27, 1956 in Hamburg ) was a German SPD politician .
Life
From 1912 Ziegler worked for the Reichspost , later the Bundespost . From 1919 he was first a city councilor and city councilor in his hometown , later a district councilor in the Braunsberg district and a member of the East Prussian provincial parliament .
After the Second World War , Ziegler came to West Germany as a displaced person. He became a member of the Refugee Council for the British Zone . He was a member of the German Bundestag from the Bundestag election in 1953 until his death. He was a member of the Committee on Civil Service Law and the Committee on Postal and Telecommunications. In addition, he was a member of the administrative board of the Deutsche Bundespost.
