Otto Paul Wilhelm Zimmer (born October 16, 1866 in Breslau , † February 9, 1940 in Johanngeorgenstadt ) was a German SPD politician . He was a member of the Saxon State Parliament and the Saxon People's Chamber .

The son of the cooperage master August Zimmer († 1870) in Breslau married Amalie Therese Vogel (1867–1944), daughter of a bookbinder from Johanngeorgenstadt in the Erzgebirge . In his new home he settled down as a glove maker at Schwarzenberger Strasse 1 B. From 1904 to 1930 he was managing director of the consumer association of Johanngeorgenstadt. As a representative of the 42nd rural constituency, he was a member of the Saxon state parliament from 1909 to 1918. When he was elected to the Saxon People's Chamber on February 2, 1919, he was again able to win a member of parliament for the third constituency. From 1912 to 1918 he was also city councilor for Johanngeorgenstadt.
