Otto von Ahlefeldt

Otto von Ahlefeldt (* after 1620 in Schulenburg ; † 1693 in Lübeck ) was a German officer and landlord of Fresenburg .

Life

He was the son of the noble landlord Detlev Hennekesen von Ahlefeldt (1620–1680) and his wife Dorthea Elisabeth nee von Rantzau († 1676). His wife was Sophie, née von Reventlow (1658-1731), whom he married on September 6, 1681 in Lübeck. From this marriage Dorothea Elisabeth emerged, who later married Joachim Diedrich von Rantzau (1690–1729). Von Ahlefeldt studied at the Friedrich Schiller University in Jena in 1635 and served the Swedish Field Marshal Carl Gustav Wrangel during the Thirty Years' War . After the Peace of Brömsebro , Otto von Ahlefeldt was stationed in Uetersen as the commander of a company from August 1645 and later became a bailiff in the duchies.
