Ouattara Lagazane

Ouattara Lagazane (* 1963 in Bondoukou ) is a former Ivorian track and field athlete who reached the Olympic finals with the relay in 1992 .

At the 1992 Olympic Games , he was eliminated in the quarter-finals in the 200-meter run . With the Ivorian 4 x 100 meter relay with the line-up Frank Waota , Jean-Olivier Zirignon , Gilles Bogui and Lagazane, he reached the final and finished eighth in 39.31 s. In the following year at the 1993 World Championships , the season with the line-up of Lagazane, Zirignon, Waota and Ibrahim Meité again made it into the finals, finishing seventh in 38.82 s.

Lagazane won the Ivorian championships over 200 meters in 1985 and 1986, from 1988 to 1996 he won nine other titles in a row. In 1989, 1991 and 1993 he also won the 100 meter title.

With a height of 1.77 m, Lagazane's competition weight was 72 kg.
