Frank Waota

Frank Waota (born December 6, 1971 ) is a former Ivorian athlete who reached the Olympic finals in 1992 with the relay.

At the 1992 Olympic Games , he reached the final with the Ivorian 4 x 100 meter relay team consisting of Frank Waota, Jean-Olivier Zirignon , Gilles Bogui and Ouattara Lagazane and finished eighth in 39.31 s. In the following year at the World Championships in 1993 , the season with the line-up Lagazane, Zirignon, Waota and Ibrahim Meité again made it into the finals, they finished seventh in 38.82 s. 1996 Waota took part in the Olympic Games for the second time ; in the 200-meter run he was eliminated in the quarter-finals, with the relay he reached the semifinals.

With a height of 1.86 m, Waota's competition weight was 85 kg.
