Ouellette Island

Ouellette Island is an island in the West Antarctic Palmer Archipelago . It is located 800 m west of Howard Island in the southern section of the Joubin Islands .

The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named them in 1975 after Gerald L. Ouellette, chief engineer on RV Hero serving the National Science Foundation on their Antarctic voyage to Palmer Station in 1968.
