Our Love Affair is a song from 1940 composed by Roger Edens and George E. Stoll ; the lyrics of the song are from Arthur Freed . In the version sung by Judy Garland and Mickey Rooney , it was used as the movie song for the movie Hot Rhythms in Chicago . At the Academy Awards in 1941 , the song was nominated in the Best Song category.

The song was covered by Frank Sinatra , among others , as well as by the Casa Loma Orchestra , Bea Wain , Tommy Dorsey , Glenn Miller , Ernst van't Hoff , Rosemary Clooney and Herman Chittison .
