Outiz is a place and a former municipality ( freguesia ) in northern Portugal .
Outiz is part of the Vila Nova de Famalicão district in the Braga district . The community had an area of 3.3 km² and 913 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2011).
On September 29, 2013, the municipalities of Outiz, Gondifelos and Cavalões were merged to form the new municipality of União das Freguesias de Gondifelos, Cavalões e Outiz .
