The Outlaw Rock (from English outlaw 'outlaw , outlaw' ) is an isolated and sea-washed cliff rock in the archipelago of the Adelaide and Biscoe Islands west of the Antarctic Peninsula . In Marguerite Bay, it lies west of the Dion Islands off the southern end of Adelaide Island .
A Royal Navy hydrographic unit on board HMS Protector first mapped it in 1963. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1964 after its isolated location.
