Overby is a small village on the Sjællands Odde peninsula on the north-west coast of the Danish island of Zealand .
The village is located near the south coast of the narrow peninsula protruding into the Kattegat and belongs to the municipality of Odsherred . Havnebyen is to the northwest . The village has fewer than 200 inhabitants and belongs to the parish of Odden Sogn . Odden Kirke church is northwest of Overby . The Danish trunk road 21 runs north of the village and leads west to Odden Færgehavn ferry terminal .
