Péter Disztl [ ˈpeːtɛr ˈdistl ] (born March 30, 1960 in Baja , People's Republic of Hungary ) is a former Hungarian football goalkeeper of Danube Swabian origin.

Disztl played in Hungary for a long time for Videoton Székesfehérvár and later for Honvéd Budapest . His greatest success was reaching the final of the 1985 UEFA Cup with Videoton Székesfehérvár, who lost his team to Real Madrid (0-3, 1-0). In 1990 Disztl moved to the GDR league for FC Rot-Weiß Erfurt . There he played 24 games for the Thuringians in the last league season and made it into the 2nd Bundesliga and the UEFA Cup with the club with third place in the table. In the following season Disztl played 21 games for the Red-Whites before he switched to league rivals VfB Leipzig during the season , where he had eleven more appearances in the 2nd Bundesliga.

Between 1984 and 1989 Disztl was in the goal of the Hungarian national football team , for which he played a total of 37 international matches. At the 1986 World Cup he was in the Hungarian squad and played two games.

After the end of his active career, Disztl worked, among other things, as a goalkeeping coach for the Hungarian national team.
