Percy Amaury Talbot (born June 26, 1877 , † December 28, 1945 in Cheltenham ) was a versatile British civil servant, botanist, anthropologist and African explorer . He was in the service of the Nigerian Political Service .

Live and act

Percy Amaury Talbot traveled extensively with his wife Dorothy Amaury Talbot (1871-1916) in the Oban District of Southern Nigeria and part of Cameroon to study the Ekoi people and the natural history of the area. The genus Dorothea Wernham honors Dorothy Amaury Talbot.
