The PBC Bork 73 (officially: Pool-Billard-Club Bork 73 ) was a pool club from Selm founded in 1973 .

history

PBC Bork was founded in 1973 in the Selmer district of Bork . In 1991 he won the German 8-Ball Cup in the final against 1. PBV Nuremberg . In 2008, the club managed to move up to the 2nd Bundesliga and win the 8-ball cup for the second time by beating PBC Munich-West in the final . In the league, Bork 73 reached second place in the 2008/09 season and thus rose to the 1st Bundesliga . There the club managed to stay sixth in 2010 , before finishing eighth in the 2010/11 season with just three points and thus relegated. The association was then dissolved.

Stefan Nölle became the European Junior Champion in 2007 and 2008 as a player in PBC Bork and won the men's bronze medal at the 2009 German championship . In 2010 , Wolfgang Scheder came third in the senior category . In addition, Bernd Hoffmann , Pedro Lourenco and Tristan Bialuschewski played for the PBC Bork 73.
