The PBC Munich-West (officially: Pool-Billard-Club Munich-West eV ) is a pool club from Munich .
history
PBC München-West was founded in 1986. Five years later he reached fourth place in the 1st Bundesliga . In 1996 the club behind BSC Ingolstadt became German runner-up. After the club was relegated to the league in the meantime, it was promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga in 2008 and reached the final of the German 8-Ball Cup , but lost there against PBC Bork 73 . In the league, they just missed promotion to the first division with second place in the 2008/09 season . In the 2010/11 season they finished eighth and were relegated to the regional league after they were relegated to sixth in 2010 . For the 2011/12 season, the first team was canceled, the second team came in eighth place in the district league A. In the following season, the PBC Munich-West played in the regional league and rose in ninth place in the district league. In the 2015/16 season they came undefeated to first place and thus managed to return to the national league.
Between 1986 and 1992, Oliver Ortmann was four times German champion and three times European champion in men's singles as a player at PBC Munich-West . In the senior category, Biagio Devivo ( 1987 ), Rudi Schneider ( 1993 ) and Harald Wolff ( 2010 ) were three players from the Association of German Masters.
