Pablo Horacio Guiñazú (born August 26, 1978 in General Cabrera ) is an Argentine football player who is currently under contract with CR Vasco da Gama . He is a national player in his home country.

Career

Guiñazú began his career in 1996 with Newell's Old Boys , where he played over 100 games. In 2000 he played for the Italian club AC Perugia Calcio before moving back to Argentina in 2001 for CA Independiente . There he won the Apertura Championship in 2002. In 2003 he returned to the Old Boys and in 2004 moved to the Russian first division club Saturn Ramenskoje . After one season he played in Paraguay at Club Libertad , where he won the Paraguayan championship in 2006. From 2007 to 2012 he played for the Brazilian club SC Internacional . In January 2013 he terminated his contract with SC International for private reasons in order to then rejoin Club Libertad. He has been active for CR Vasco da Gama since summer 2013 .

Guiñazú has played 14 times for the Argentine national soccer team since 2003 .
