Pablo Ortiz García

Pablo Ortiz García (* 1952 Quito ) is an Ecuadorian diplomat who has been ambassador to Brussels since April 30, 2019 .

Life

In 1979 he joined the foreign service. He is a Doctor of Law from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador . From 1987 to 1988 he headed the legal department of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce in Quito. From 1993 to 1995 he was Professor of Law at the Pontifical Catholic University of Ecuador . From 1995 to 2010 he was Professor of Corporate Law at the Pontifical Catholic University of Ecuador . From 1995 to 2003 he was professor of finance and stock exchange law at the Universidad Andina Simón Bolívar . From 1993 to 1995 he was Deputy Chairman of the Ecuadorian Security Council.
