Pacific Storm is the first part of a computer game series of the same name and was released in 2006. The title was developed by Lesta Sudio and distributed in Germany by Frogster Interactive Pictures for Buka Entertainment .

action

The game re-enacts the naval war in the Pacific during World War II. The player either takes the side of the Americans or the Japanese. In the successor Pacific Storm: Allies , the British are represented as a further faction. The action takes place between 1940 and 1948. Various historical battles can be re-enacted, but all other missions are fictitious.

Specialty

Pacific Storm attracted particular attention with its innovative mix of tactics, strategy and simulation . In addition to controlling from a bird's eye view, there is also the option of controlling each individual aircraft or anti-aircraft gun on a ship. Overall, both titles could not meet the expectations of the trade press, which is clear in the reviews.
