Packing list

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A packing list is a structured arrangement of objects in a shipment of goods. It is used to more precisely determine the scope and type of the goods and is sent to check the completeness of the consignment by the recipient of the goods , as well as for correct and simplified customs clearance .

It is stated:

In contrast to the parts list , the contents of a packing list do not have to be functionally dependent on one another, i. H. The contained parts, assemblies and products do not have to (but can) be necessary for the manufacture of a common end product. The contents of a packing list can therefore be compiled arbitrarily according to the container size or the requirements of the sender or recipient.
