A package dispenser is an automated package station , the receiving and / or delivering parcels and packets possible.

Parcel machines in individual countries

  • The only parcel machines currently in use in Germany are around 2,500 so-called Packstations from DHL . These are based on the KePol parcel machines from the Austrian company KEBA . In 2005, Siemens Logistics and Assembly Systems also supplied some machines for a pilot project in Leipzig .
  • Since November 2006, 24 parcel machines from KEBA have been operated in Austria under the name Post.24-Station .
  • In Switzerland, Swiss Post offers such a service with My Post 24 . Around 140 machines have been put into operation since November 2013.
  • In Denmark, the Danish Post has been operating a parcel machine system called "Døgnposten" since November 2008. Around 100 KEBA KePol machines have been in use since 2010 .
  • In Norway and Sweden, the subsidiary “bring Express” of Posten Norge has been offering a parcel machine system from KEBA under the name “MyQuickBox” since 2009 .
