Pakistan Open Men's Squash Championships 2017

The 2017 Pakistan Open Men's Squash Championships took place from December 19-23 , 2017 in Islamabad , Pakistan . The men's squash tournament was part of the PSA World Tour 2017/18 and belonged to the PSA 50 rating category . Parallel one found at the same site tournament of the PSA World Tour ladies instead.

The title was won by Marwan Elshorbagy , who defeated Mohamed Abouelghar in four sets in the final .

The field of participants consisted of 32 players, eight of them for qualifiers. The eight best players were seeded. Per Wildcard received Israr Ahmed a spot in the main draw.

Prize money and world ranking points

At the tournament, the following prize money and world ranking points were paid out or credited for reaching the respective round. Players who entered the main field from qualification received the specified qualification points in addition to those for reaching the respective round. Otherwise the amounts are not to be understood as cumulative. The total prize pool was $ 50,000.
