Rui Soares (born October 5, 1993 in Porto ) is a Portuguese squash player .

Career

Rui Soares started his career in 2012 and has so far won a title on the PSA World Tour . He reached his highest place in the world rankings with rank 71 in March 2020. He took part in the European Championship for the first time in 2017 , where he reached the second round. In this he was defeated by Raphael Kandra . In the same year qualified he is - the first Portuguese - the first time for the main draw of the World Cup . From 2015 to 2018 he was Portuguese national champion four times in a row.
