Hartleben Palace
The Hartleben Palace in Braunfels , a town in the Lahn-Dill district in Hesse , was built in 1681. The house at Schloßstraße 9 is a protected architectural monument .
description
The half-timbered house built directly onto the bell tower was built for Chamber President Ludwig Ernst von Hartleben in place of a previous building. A half-timbered upper floor with richly carved corner posts stands above a massive ground floor . The portal with Latin inscription is decorated with carved reliefs. All windows have triangular roofs. Inside, the generous vestibule staircase and the rich door frames have been preserved.
