Palau Micronesia Air was a Palauian airline that ceased operations in December 2004.
history
Palau Micronesia Air was founded in 2003 and started operations in April 2004 with a Boeing 737-300 instead of two aircraft as originally planned from Koror Airport . The airline was closely tied to Air New Zealand , under whose operating license it initially flew. Air New Zealand was also responsible for the maintenance of the aircraft and the provision of crews until Palau Micronesia Air was able to commission its own pilots, who were also trained by Air New Zealand.
On December 23, 2004, Palau Micronesia Air closed its flight operations. Until then, only a Boeing 737-300 with the New Zealand registration ZK-PLU was used.
