Palazzo Marcello Toderini

history
The small palace dates from the 17th century. The old Roman family Marcello had it built. From it two doges emerged: Marcello Tegalliano (717–726) and Nicolò Marcello (1473–1474). But best known are two brothers from this family who became musicians: Alessandro Marcello (1684–1750) and Benedetto Marcello (1686–1739).
description
The Palazzo Marcello Toderini has three floors. The portal on the ground floor to the Riva de Biasio is just as rectangular as the two pairs of individual windows that flank it. The mezzanine floor under the roof has a window layout corresponding to the main floor: three individual rectangular windows sit above the Venetian window, flanked by two pairs of individual rectangular windows. At the top, the plastered and painted white facade closes off with a serrated eaves .
