Pamapuria is a small settlement in the Far North District of Northland on the North Island of New Zealand .
geography
The settlement is located about 8 km south-southeast of Kaitaia at the confluence of the Victoria River with the Takahue River . The New Zealand State Highway 1 runs through the settlement and connects it directly to Kaitaia .
Education
With the Pamapuria School, the settlement has a primary school with grades 1 to 8. In 2015, 122 students attended the school.
