The dolmen Panker 1 is located on an 87 meter high hill northwest of Lütjenburg in the Plön district in Schleswig-Holstein . The megalithic system of the funnel beaker culture (TBK) with the Sprockhoff no. 187 was created between 3500 and 2800 BC. Chr.

The burial chamber lies transversely to the longitudinal axis
Parallel and transverse lying

The megalithic graves are located at or on the Panker / Giekau field mark border . Panker 1 is the northern of the two dolmens , Panker 2 with the Sprockhoff no. 188 is about 50.0 meters south.

Panker 1 is a rectangular, east-west-oriented barren bed of about 26.0 × 5.0 m, the border of which has largely been preserved, but Ernst Sprockhoff states that stones are said to have been added in the 1930s. In the barren bed there is an approximately north-west-south-east oriented extended dolmen of 2.0 × 0.8 m that is inclined to the axis . Each long side has two bearing stones, some of which are on their long narrow side and not on their smallest narrow side, as is characteristic of the type. Half of the dolmen thus shows elements of the ancient dolmen . A corridor, which also belongs to the enlarged dolmen, could not be proven. The supporting stones are, based on the trapezoidal end stone, inclined inward and slightly offset from one another. The two cap stones are missing. The end stone and a flatter and lower entry stone are present.

Nearby is the largely destroyed stone grave Giekau .
