The Kaiser Maximilian Panoramabahn is an inclined lift in Kufstein that leads from the Neuhof fortress in the old town to the Kufstein fortress and overcomes a difference in altitude of around 90 m.

history

The elevator was originally used to transport ammunition and guns. The Panoramabahn was rebuilt for tourist purposes in the 1990s.

During the lunchtime hero organ concerts in the fortress, the train pauses so as not to disturb the enjoyment of the music.
