The Pantomime Point is a headland on the east coast of Signy Iceland in the archipelago of the South Orkney Islands . It is the northernmost of three ice-free headlands at the eastern end of the Gourlay Peninsula .
Scientists from the British Discovery Investigations conducted a survey in 1933. The Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey (FIDS) repeated this in 1947. Members of the FIDS named the headland after the unusual behavior of individual animals in the penguin colonies on the Gourlay Peninsula.
