The Caloplaca Cove is a bay on the east coast of Signy Iceland in the archipelago of the South Orkney Islands . It is located between Rethval Point and Pantomime Point .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1974 after the lichen of the genus Caloplaca , which overgrown the cliffs along the shore of the bay.
