Paola-Ludovika Coriando

Paola-Ludovika Coriando (born July 8, 1969 ) is a philosopher and university professor .

biography

After graduating from a humanistic grammar school , she studied philosophy, medieval history and political science in Genoa and philosophy, modern German literature and German philology at the Albert Ludwigs University of Freiburg . In 1997 she did her doctorate under Friedrich-Wilhelm von Herrmann on the "ab-bottom-up time-spatiality of transition in Heideggers' contributions to philosophy". She then worked as a private assistant to Friedrich-Wilhelm von Herrmann and qualified as a professor in 2001 with the thesis “Theory of Affects and Phenomenology of Moods. Ways of an Interpretation of the Emotional ”at the Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg. In the summer of 2004 she was visiting professor for the history of philosophy at the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt . In 2005 she became a visiting professor at the Minsk University Summer School. In 2006 she received a Research Fellowship at the Istituto di Studi Avanzati (ISA) of the University of Bologna . In 2007/2008 she taught philosophy at the University of Lüneburg . In 2009 she received and accepted a professorship for philosophy at the University of Innsbruck with a focus on metaphysics and metaphysics criticism.

Scientific work

Her research focuses on metaphysics (especially Aristotle, Descartes, Leibniz) and metaphysics criticism (Kant, Nietzsche), phenomenology (Husserl, Scheler, Heidegger), anthropology , comparative philosophy of religion and philosophical film and acting theory (especially Stanislawski, Balázs) .
