Paolo Giannini
Paolo Giannini OSBI (born July 11, 1920 in Albano Laziale , Province of Rome , Italy ; † July 21, 2006 in Grottaferrata , Italy) was Abbot of Santa Maria di Grottaferrata .
Life
Paolo Giannini was born and raised in Albano Laziale . At the age of twenty-three, Paolo Giannini was ordained a priest in the religious community of Basilians .
He was appointed and confirmed abbot of Santa Maria di Grottaferrata at the age of fifty-two on August 1, 1972. At the age of seventy, on July 28, 1990, Giannini was reappointed abbot and resigned in 1992.
Paolo Giannini died on July 21, 2006 at the age of eighty-six in Grottaferrata.
