Paon ( Japanese パ オ ン , since 2004 Paon DP ) is a Japanese manufacturer of video games .
Paon was founded on January 20, 1999 as Paon Corporation in the legal form of a Limited Company (Ltd.) . Later, the company acted as Paon Inc. and launched in March 2015 Listed company under the name PAON DP Inc. active after Paon Inc. with DP Inc. was merged. The company currently has 54 employees (as of 02/18) and has a capital base of ¥ 35 million (approx. € 300,000 ).
The company became known primarily through its cooperation with Nintendo and the associated developments of Donkey Kong: King of Swing , Donkey Kong: Jungle Climber and Donkey Kong Jet Race . Paon was also involved in the development of Super Smash Bros. Brawl and was responsible for the development of Glory of Heracles .
