The Papenburg Sisters are a series of nine largely identical Ro-Ro ferries from the Papenburg shipyard Jos. L. Meyer .

details

The ships in the series are designed as RoRo passenger ferries with bow and stern ramps. The type has a fixed deckhouse and a continuous RoRo cargo space with 440 lane meters .

The ships in the series are powered by two four-stroke diesel engines that act on controllable pitch propellers . Auxiliary and emergency diesel engines are also available. The berthing and casting off maneuvers are supported by a bow thruster .
