Mike Paradinas

Mike Paradinas (* 1971 in Wimbledon as Michael Paradinas ) is a British musician who produces electronic music and is best known under his alias µ-ziq (a play on English music ). Paradinas publishes its music under numerous other pseudonyms such as Frost Jockey, Gary Moscheles, Jake Slazenger, Kid Spatula, Rude Ass Tinker, Smog Carver or Tusken Raiders. He is the owner of the record label Planet Mu .

Paradinas also works with other musicians, for example with Aphex Twin (project Mike & Rich ) or with Speedy J (project Slag Boom Van Loon ), whose works were released on Peter Kuhlmann's label. With his companion Luke Vibert , Paradinas produced a piece as Smooth Helmet that was released in 1996 on the Belgian label SSR.

Paradinas has two children, the sons Caleb (* 1996) and Lorien (* 2003). He is married to Lara Rix-Martin . Together, the couple released two albums under the name Heterotic .
