Parcmotor de Castellolí
Parcmotor de Castellolí is a motorsport school and racing circuit in Catalonia . The facility is located in Castellolí , in the Comarca Anoia , province of Barcelona .
Parcmotor de Castellolí was built as a center for high-performance motor sports specifically geared towards the training of racing drivers. However, the tracks are also used for official races. In addition to the asphalt circuit, there is also a motocross track on the site, on which the Spanish championships are held.
history
The facility, with an area of 27 hectares, was built in several stages together with the Government of Catalonia, the General Secretariat for Sport and the Catalan Motorcycle Association. The project started on November 5th, 2001 and in mid-2002 the first installation of the motocross track opened. In 2004 the construction of the paved circuit began. In 2008 the entire Parcmotor de Castellolí was completed. The racetracks are certified by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile and Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme . The layout of the track was built with the advice of some Spanish drivers such as Àlex Crivillé , Carlos Checa and Toni Elías .

Trivia
Parcmotor de Castellolí is also the scene of several important presentations or other promotions and test drives by car brands such as Audi, Volkswagen, Infiniti, Porsche, Lexus and Seat.
