Park (in German "Der Park") is the title of an Estonian cut-out animation film in color from 1966 .
action
Every day people stroll in a good mood through a beautiful, natural park. Over time, this has created a path that everyone likes to use. This wild growth is a thorn in the side of the urban bureaucrats. They are therefore laying a new, artificial path, which they are opening up with great pomp. But the new route planning completely ignores the needs of the park users.
Of course, the walkers don't stick to the given route; they continue to follow the old beaten path. However, the administration tries to enforce its administrative will through constant new bans, signs, barbed wire, new plans and awareness campaigns.
Of course it's all in vain. No administration can permanently change the nature of man and old habits ...
Director
Elbert Tuganov (1920–2007) directed the cheerful satire on bureaucracy and government planning alien to life . After his early films for school children, Tuganov turned more and more films for adult audiences with Just nii (1963) and Park in the 1960s. His critical undertone against the Soviet bureaucracy became more noticeable, albeit moderate.
